Black & White Filter Test with TMAX 100 on a Bright Sunlit Seascape
The scene is a midday seascape with typical bad midday
light. I wanted to see the effect the filters would have on the
scene.
All of these shots were taken with a Pentax 6x7 with a 75mm f/4.5 lens on a tripod.
I
used the TTL prism to adjust the aperture until the Pentax meter
indicated a good exposure. The Pentax TTL meter did fine except
with the Dark RED filter.
The film is Kodak TMAX 100 processed and scanned by
North Coast Photographic Services.
I
edited the pictures with ACDSee Pro to make them look similar to show
the effect of the filters on both the original scan and the edited
result.
